Transport charges: how they are calculated

International freight rates change with route, departure, capacity, fuel and currency. The main transport is therefore quoted at the current daily rate rather than presented as a permanently valid fixed price.

No. Door-to-door describes the route. DDP also allocates obligations and costs and does not suit every shipment.
